QFM Asset Management is an excellent tool to aid in reducing the cost of ownership of an asset. The software can help to extend the life of an asset, improve its performance and lower ongoing maintenance management costs.
QFM is pre-loaded with typical asset data to allow quick implementation and is used to:
- Capture information including cost codes and management structures associated with the equipment
- Manage asset information based on groups and model types
- Link assets with components for maintenance and refurbishment purposes
- Identify and analyse the elements that affect reliability, servicing and repair
- Highlight the most cost-effective method of maintaining an asset (periodic maintenance, call-out or complete replacement)
- Evaluate the true cost of an asset over a period of time and calculate life-cycle costs and asset depreciation (straight line depreciation, reducing balance and sum of digits) and asset depreciation
- Link AutoCAD drawings and / or documents to assets
- Automatically create work requests when BAS / BMS (Building Automation Systems / Building Management Systems) alarms are triggered
